We started our week with another letter for Katie Morag. This time she sent us a present of chalk and the story Katie Morag and the Grand Concert. She asked us to find out about the different games and songs our grandparents would have played. We are hoping to get a dry day to have a go at Hopscotch with our chalk. We shared our opinion on our favourite part of the story. Ask your children what Liam was up to?
This week we have been busy making our christmas fayre crafts to sell. We have been writing instructions for making our lollipop reindeers and bead crafts to teach each other. We are also making special gift tags, teddies,cupcakes, puppies and face cloth crafts.
We are continuing to consolidate our addition facts. Next week we will be learning about money in preparation for the christmas fayre. We are also learning about patterns and sequences when making our bead crafts.
