We have had a busy and fun week in Primary 2/3. We have been learning about division in Numeracy and how to use adverbs in our writing during Literacy. Everyone has produced beautiful colourful pictures in art based on the canadian artist Ted Harrison's paintings. Everyone enjoyed finding out how animals in the polar regions of Canada keep warm in the freezing temperatures. We all had a turn of putting a blubber glove on and putting our hand in freezing water to see what would happen.

Next week we will continue to study Canada as part of our Children of the World project. We will compare a child from Scotland with a child from Canada. We will also be continuing to work on division and will be using numicon to support this. In Literacy, we will be looking at persuasive writing.

In P.E, the children have been taking part in multiskills activities and yoga. Can you please ensure your child has a full gym kit with them on a Monday and Wednesday. Thank you.
