Wow, what a quick term!

We had a lovely Thursday as we had a little visit from Mrs Elvin. She still had a sore throat but had been missing everyone so much that she popped in for a catch up.  We made a basket for the Crème Eggs Mrs Elvin brought in. It was very tasty! In the afternoon, the pupils from Fire house went along to the house treat to watch the Easter movie Hop.

This week we revised the magic e sounds in phonics. Some of these sounds need a bit more practise so we will keep revising them. If you can look at them at home, even better.

In Numeracy, we looked at the language of times tables. We were practising groups and sets of different numbers. We also used our problem-solving skills in our Crack the Code challenge. We had to problem solve to find out the numbers for the keypad on the music room. We managed and unlock a treat which we decided to share with the whole area. We watched Encanto and had some popcorn. The singing was amazing!

We had lots of fun today making Easter egg crafts. We made chicks and eggs on legs that Mrs Taylor brought in. We also visited the Junior Sports Leaders Fun-draiser. There was lots to do there but our favourite activity was Splat the Sports Leader. We then finished off the day with some Outdoor Learning.

What a fantastic term it has been and I think everyone in the class has definitely earned themselves a holiday. Hope you have a lovely and restful two weeks.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the start of Term 4
