Primary 1a Weekly Update

Good afternoon,
One of our highlights this week was in the area of Science. We wanted our school garden to be full of flowers so we learned that flowers grow from seeds or bulbs and we learned how to grow flowers. We spent a lovely afternoon digging and planting bulbs and we are so excited to watch them grow. We learned that flowers need heat, light and water in order to grow healthily and are ready with a watering can for those drier spells!
Another highlight was hearing that our class teddy, Buster, is going to become a big brother this Summer! This provided a real purpose for our Health and Well-being outcomes, learning what is required to look after a baby. We believe that we have prepared Buster well!
