Good afternoon,
We started our week with a visit from Janet McLean from Robertson Homes. She talked to us about staying safe near building sites and shared a safety poster competition with us. We set straight to work after she left , each of us making a poster to share what we had learned. We really enjoyed entering the competition and are looking forward to finding out if there are winners among our class!
Another highlight this week was `Jeans For Genes Day` on Friday. We had a really nice time fundraising for such an important cause. A `Denim Disco` with P2 kickstarted our day off nicely. This was followed by a `Design a Denim Outfit Competition` and then the `Side by Side Challenge ` with our buddies in the afternoon ,which saw us walking 6 laps of the playground (the 6 laps represent one for every 1000 genetic conditions that exist).
