Good afternoon,
In Numeracy this week, we continued to develop subtraction strategies. We were using our fingers as a resource and we were using the counting back strategy where we put the first number in our head and counted back using our fingers .
In Literacy, we were learning how to sequence a story that we had listened to. We sequenced the pictures and used words such as; First, Then, Next and Finally.
In Science, we planted sunflower seeds and are looking forward to taking them home once the plant has started growing and is strong enough to do so.
