Good afternoon,

A highlight this week was our Science/Health and Well-being project - Electricity. We sorted objects into groups which get electricity either from mains electrical sockets or alternative sources such as batteries. We became aware of the importance of electricity in our daily lives and identified the risks that can be caused by electricity and how to stay safe.

The first term is really flying by and it is very hard to believe that we have only one more week until the October break! With this in mind I have prepared and sent home,( with your child today) next term's homework. It can then be quarantined in a box at home until it is needed next term. Under more 'normal circumstances', homework would be sent home on a weekly basis and then returned to school the following week. However under Covid guidance, homework for the entire term is being sent home all at once and should not be returned to school. Instead I will inform you via Seesaw when and what homework should be completed. Examples of homework can then be photographed and uploaded onto Seesaw. I will then use what I see to further support your child in class and guide my planning.

Have a lovely weekend!
