Good Afternoon,
This week in maths we have been learning to read and record o`clock times using analogue and digital clocks. Today your child has taken home an analogue clock with movable hands to keep and further practise their learning at home.
To support reading and writing the children have been exploring syllables. We have been using the strategy of placing a flat hand under the chin to feel the syllables as a word is spoken.
In IDL we have become aware that people in the past lived differently and used digital literacy to compare nowadays objects, such as irons, washing machines and hot water bottles, to those in the past.
