Good afternoon,
Once again we have taken advantage of the dry weather and enjoyed taking our Discovery Time outdoors. We explored the garden and large equipment, working collaboratively, sharing, turn-taking and negotiating as we developed our gross motor skills. We also learned how to shake off dust and wash our hands afterwards!
This week we also met 3 of our 6 jungle friends who remind us of what makes a good learner ( learner attributes). We met Gordon Gorilla who reminds us that a good learner `gives-it -a -go`, Percy Parrot who reminds us that a good learner `perseveres' and Colin Crcodile who reminds us that a good learner `concentrates'. We practised using these skills in class, giving our songs and rhymes a go, persevering during our Daily Miles and concentrating during story time in order to be successful in the `quizzes` which followed. We look forward to meeting the other 3 animals next week.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for using i-pay impact at home to pre-book lunches and to remind you that if you like to add your childs lunch choices all in one go, the next 3 weekly booking cycle starts again from Monday.
