Dear parent/carer,
As per Scottish Government guidance all PE activities are to be delivered outdoors. We have requested that children come to school dressed in suitable outdoor PE kits and I thank you for ensuring this.
To ensure optimum learning and safety we have planned for all PE sessions to be delivered on our field- much to the delight of our children. However, the weather being as it has been this week, some of our classes were caught in heavy showers. Depsite ensuring we have the most up to date weather forecast information this seemed unavoidable and upon heavy rain starting the children returned back to the school building promptly.
Please note that if the weather is unsuitable (heavy rain, strong winds etc) we will not have the children outdoors and alternative activities will be offered.
Please provide a change of socks for your child should they get wet feet at any time to ensure they are comfortable throughout the remainder of the school day.
