For our WW2 topic, P7 have been looking at rationing. Each child has created their own rationing campaign poster, after looking at and discussing the propaganda posters created during WW2.
We have been talking about what a balanced diet looks like in Heath and Wellbeing, and the children have carried this over into art, creating a 3D model of their favourite meal, with a healthy twist! When they are complete, they will upload an image onto Seesaw.
P7 were very lucky this week to receive an assembly and a workshop from the NSPCC. They were talking about how all children have the right to be safe. The children were engaged in all discussions and showed respect throughout the day.
We have some incredible photographers in the class! Check out Seesaw to see this. This week we focused on background and simplicity in photography. Some stunning pictures taken by the children.
It has been so lovely to see everyone in their P7 ties. The children have really been making a fantastic effort with school uniform. A gentle reminder about footwear - we have some children wearing shoes which are not appropriate for school uniform. If children don’t want to get school shoes muddy at break and lunch times, please have them bring in a spare pair of shoes, such as trainers or wellies and they can change into them. Thank you.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Mrs Forrest.
