Term 2 Week 5
Our final week before Ardroy! We have been talking about it lots this week and watched a short series from Class Dojo called ‘Big Challenges’. The theme of this series was about using different strategies when faced with challenges that may scare or worry us.
Along with the Ardroy theme, we looked into The John Muir Award, finding out about who John Muir was and what he is famous for. We have started PowerPoints on this and will add to them when we come back from Ardroy.
Hannah Smithson was busy baking at home this week. She very kindly brought in homemade fortune cookies for everyone. They were delicious and had lovely messages inside. Thanks again Hannah!
We have started our Christmas crafts! We have made the cutest sock snowpeople and have been out at the woods, searching for pine cones to create ‘scent jars’.
In Numeracy, we have finished addition and subtraction and moving onto multiplication and division. This week we looked at mental strategies to multiply.
Hope everyone manages to get all packed and organised for Ardroy over the weekend and looking forward to seeing a very excited bunch of P7s on Monday!
