Happy Holidays!
P7 have had a fantastic final week. We were learning about what a debate is and what skills are required for successful debating. Children then carried out a debate, looking a different perspectives on whether a new factory should be opened in Beijing.
P7 were very enthusiastic about our Chinese cooking afternoon on Friday. We cooked vegetable chow mein, egg fried rice, sugar cookies and fried coconut bananas. I even heard some of the children have been trying recipes at home!
In P.E, we finished our athletics focus with the beep test. The children were incredible, with some getting to the final level! Their picture is on our Seesaw blog.
Finally, we carried out a filtration experiment in Science today, where children had to create their own filtering systems to filter dirty water. I was very impressed at their initiative and team work.
