It was an exciting week in P7a as on Monday, we had a visit from Homefront Histories. Dean brought in weapons, uniforms, samples of food and items from the time period of World War II.
We learned a lot about life during the War, like how you could attach bayonets to the end of rifles. We also learned about rationing and rationing books. If you didn't have enough stamps for food, you could get things on the black market.
We have been working on our photography skills for the Rotary Competition. The theme was 'Beauty in the rain'.
We are still practising our Scots poetry which we will be reciting next week.
Our Science Club girls will be attending a STEM roadshow on Friday next week so need to remember to be at school early for 8.30am as the bus will leave shortly after.
Have a lovely weekend!
