It has been a truly wonderful week to be at Canmore Primary School. Your child has simply excelled in all areas of responsibility, creativity, marketing and of course sales with their Christmas Enterprise projects. Singing, laughter, learning and incase you missed hearing about it we even had some SNOW!
The full cohort have worked together to ensure their enterprise products were ready in time for the Christmas Fayre and with the christmas classics playing there has been a bustling happiness throughout the school. A massive congratulations to all the pupils for running their stalls so well and for supporting the younger classes with their stalls too.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for joining in the festivities and for your continued support to the school fundraisers.
A massive well done to Malcolm, Morgan, and Ishbel our pupils who receive brass tuition who performed to a live audience at Dunfermline High School - both performances were wonderful. Also well done our School Choir including Malcolm, Ishbel, Morgan, Katie, Mollie and Olivia who sang at Sky this week. Mrs Baxter, Mrs Dowall and the staff here at Canmore were very proud of each and every one of them.
As well as all the preparations for the fair pupils have improved their understanding of 'Advent' and created their own 24 day programme linked to this - please look out for your child's work on SEESAW. Pupils have also completed a variety of task to extend their persuasive writing so please keep an eye out next week for some more persuasive adverts, their recorded debates, and their winter story shorts!
In our maths pupils explored nets of shapes and next week we will continue our learning on measurement and continue to link this to shape.
