Another wonderful week of learning in P7 saw us ceilidh on St Andrew's day and create our own inspired Scottish print artworks which the pupils have home with them.

The World Cup has been a highlight this week with many pupils discussing their favourite players, their clubs and their performances. We have looked at who inspires us and why and explored how our actions and words can impact others. I hope you are enjoying watch the games and look forward to the games over the weekend!

We are now into December and the pupils are excited to sell their Christmas Creations at the fair next Friday. We look forward to welcoming you once again into our school as we celebrate this festive time of year. Friday is also our Christmas Jumper day and we invite the children to wear their Christmas jumper on top of their school uniform for the remainder of term.

Pupils will be creating their own adverts so look out for these on SEESAW. Wreaths are priced at £5 and scented jars are £1.

This week signalled the end of the Primary Air Race Challenge tournament. Our entry has been compiled into a SWAY by our digital marketing team Theo, Ava, Euan and Leighton. A massive thank you to them as it has been an epic task - let us know your thoughts by accessing the link here
or on SEESAW. https://sway.office.com/I2AQaEr8kmq14u54?ref=Link&loc=mysways

In our writing work pupils successfully persuaded myself and Mr Morgan to pause homework for the festive period. Such impressive quality of writing - well done everyone. Homework is now optional until the end of term for all pupils.

In our number work we looked at the properties of circles, all pupils calculated circumference using a formula whilst many others calculated area too.  We will look NETs, and explore symmetry and shape next week.
Well done to Astra Milne, our Social Target Achiever, for this week!

The P7 Area is looking very festive. The pupils have asked to run a class secret Santa so today all pupils are home with a name to organise a gift for. Please help your child with this and have the gift returned by Friday 16th December. Secret Santa works best when each child taking part exchanges a gift - we don't want anyone missing out! So please get in touch if you need help.

Pupils are busy making scented jars which will be sold for £1 and Christmas wreaths which have fitted LED lights £5 each. All proceeds will go to supporting the school. Please look out for your child's adverts on SEESAW next week ahead of the Christmas Fair on Friday! IF you are unable to attend please send your money in with your child.

Have a lovely weekend
