It was lovely to meet so many parents this afternoon at the meet the teacher event. We have posted some photos on SEESAW for those of you who couldn't make it along.

Pupils showed off their China project waterfall booklets, sharing all their learning so far in their project and pieces of descriptive mini stories.

In our number work many pupils have been applying formula to find Distance, Speed or Time and all of us have been refreshing our understanding of 24 hour clock and reading an analogue clock face.

In our STEM challenge, pupils were asked to create a structure that could withstand a seismic event - some great results!

P7's have begun their hockey training in gym with a certified coach Dougie Hill from the Carnegie Club.  Lots of smiles, sweat and serious play and we look forward to the remainder of the term developing our hockey skills.

We are also delighted to announce that Kara Lees the current women's singles under 25 Scottish carpet bowls champion will be coming along to Canmore PS to give some tips to the children (and myself and Mr Morgan). Kara will be with us Tuesday afternoons to help inspire our pupils in the sport.

A busy happy week of learning ended with the sad news of the passing of our Queen. Pupils had a lot to say and share about how this news made them feel.

Our pupils have been focusing on a social target of being respectful all week and they have shown maturity and sincerity at this sad time.
