P7a Update & Homework Information

Firstly, a fantastic week for receiving homework! Well done everyone who used their personal reading to complete the first comprehension class task.  This week read a further piece of personal reading to complete task 2 next Tuesday. (remember to bring your book with you on Tuesday)

We have focused on the 9 x table. Parents please ask to see you child's table booklets and help them remember to bring them back to school as we use them daily.  We have begun work on algebra and some of us are really getting into this topic.  Maths homework continues to be a focus on times table recall.

Personal Projects: Everyone has chosen their focus area and in class this week we have studied appealing front covers. Pupils are to complete their front cover, front poster, first power point slide etc (whatever format your project is taking).

PE has been exhausting, sweaty and fun as we were practising races for sports day. Outdoor is definitely required as is sunscreen if possible.

Dazzle Bay is coming along nicely with the songs and lines being practised with commitment.

Pupils have been away at choir this week, hockey after school has restarted, some pupils will be away at an orienteering challenge and many of us are participating in the lunchtime science club STEM challenge.

Our class look dashingly smart with their school uniform and ties.  I am impressed with the effort the class are making in this final term.

In class tomorrow we will be continuing to make some healthy recipes finishing off our block on WW2 recipes.

Enjoy the long weekend when it comes.
