Rationing has been the focus this week and pupils in P7A have learned a lot about WW2 food shortages as part of the enemy strategy to weaken their opponents. Pupils stepped back in time and role-played being at a green grocers in 1939. Photos are on SEESAW. Furthering our understanding of working with food restrictions we welcomed back 'Jaffa'  the Chef from the Royal Navy who demonstrated what it was like cooking out at sea with limited ship supplies and the pupils all got involved. Lots of learning and lots of fun!

In our number work this week we have focused on budgeting and taken a closer look at bank cards and the terms profit and loss.  Some pupils have begun set 3 in the Scottish Mathematical Challenge.

In literacy we have been developing our understanding of Scots Language. All pupils are to complete homework preparing their Burns Poetry Recital. A wee reminder that pupil's are to upload their work into their activity section on SEESAW. Good Luck!

Congratulations to Caitlin Barclay our social target winner this term.

Have a lovely weekend.
