P7a have started 2020 with a range of fantastic learning opportunities.  The pupils have home with them today a selection of poetry written by Robert Burns and we look forward to learning these whilst learning more about the poet and other significant Scots in the run up to Burns Day.

Our pupils look very smart in their school ties but it was rescue officer 'hats' P7a were wearing on Thursday as they undertook a 'mini medic' afternoon learning more about CPR, checking airways, general health and safety appropriate for their age and stage - highlights of these are in their pupil folders on SEESAW.  Please remember to link up with the School SEESAW account to see items as the blog only has a couple entries as pupils are now saving work directly into their own folders.

On Monday we will welcome a very special visitor Dean Bowen from Homefront Histories. He will be helping immerse the pupils in WW2 and providing them opportunities to handle artefacts from the period.

P7 just keeps getting better and busier!
Looking forward to another week packed full of exciting opportunities and learning.
