Firstly, I would just like to say a big thank you for your support throughout the isolation week. I was really impressed at how well the children coped with the quick transfer to home learning. They continue to show resilience and perseverance and I am very proud of them all.
It has been so lovely to be back! The children have had a very successful week.
In Writing, the children completed a balanced argument. They were given a range of topics to choose from and argued both sides before giving their opinion. These were really interesting to read. The children showed a great understanding of how to structure this piece of writing and provided excellent arguments.
In Maths, we have been looking at multiplying fractions. Our challenge this week has been multiplying mixed numbers. The children have had to convert them to improper fractions then multiply.
In Science, we have continued to look at plants and we have been growing peas! A photo of each plant has been uploaded to Seesaw.
