It has been such a lovely first week back – the sun has been shining and the children have been so delighted to see one another.
In Writing, children have made a leaflet on ‘Lockdown Holiday Ideas’. Using creativity, children came up with a bunch of ideas to enjoy the holidays, even during a lockdown. The leaflets were wonderful!
In Maths, we have started our new topic – Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. Children have been working on identifying equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions and adding and subtracting fractions. This has been challenging but children have worked well together, showing perseverance.
In Reading, we have read more of our class novel, 'Goodnight Mister Tom'. Children have been engaged and this has started some great conversations.
We have also been rehearsing our show! It is looking great and children are really growing in confidence when performing. I am looking forward to watching it develop throughout the weeks.
