Our last full week of school! What a lovely week it has been.
In Writing, we were creating a recount. We used the Coca Cola advert for our focus. The children had to use figurative language and their five senses to write a recount of the father’s journey in the advert. Some really great descriptions. We will complete this next week.
In Numeracy, we have been continuing on with our Money topic. We have been doing some budgeting for Christmas shopping and working on division and multiplication.
In Social Studies, we have been making our 2021 calendars. They are looking amazing! The children’s handmade Christmas cards, decorations and calendars will be coming home with them today or next week.
We had our Christmas party on Tuesday and Christmas lunch on Wednesday. Both were so wonderful and the children were fantastic! They all seemed to have a really good time.
