I can’t believe it’s the last week of term next week! This week P7 have been working hard on planning and organising the Macmillan Fun Day. We have been creating posters, signs and displays all for the big day. A reminder that if your child wants to participate in the Whole School Bake Off challenge, to upload a photo of them and their baking to Seesaw.

In Numeracy, we have moved onto subtraction and have been trying out a range of mental and written strategies.

In Social Studies, we compared traditional food from China and from Britain. We were quite shocked at some of the differences!

In Reading, we are almost finished our class novel, Millions. Next week, we will be watching the movie and then we will do a lesson on comparing film and text. This film is rated 12A. If you do not wish for your child to watch the movie, please contact the school by end of day on Monday.

Children will be bringing home worksheets today that they have done in class during Term 1. These will be in a folder, which has been sanitised. Please quarantine these sheets for 48 hours before taking them out the folder. Thank you.

I hope you all have a great weekend, Mrs Forrest.
