A great week for P7 with lots of super work!

In Numeracy, we have moved onto addition and subtraction. This week we focused on mental strategies in addition. The children are making great progress with their times tables too.

In Writing, children entered a competition this week for Young Writers. Each child had to come up with an idea for a peculiar pet and write a poem about this. Some very interesting ideas! The children will upload these to Seesaw on Monday.

In Project, we were learning about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the children created their own mooncakes. Some very tasty ideas! Children also were learning about Ming vases and created some of their own. These are on Seesaw and are wonderful!

We also have been discussing the Macmillan Coffee Morning, which traditionally P7 would organise and this would take place next week. However with everything being a bit different this year, we have had to come up with some creative ideas to raise money and do a different type of coffee morning. This will take place during the last week of term and more information will follow next week. The children are very excited about this.

I hope you all have a great weekend,
Mrs Forrest
