Another school week comes to an end once again and once again it was a week packed full of exciting events.

On Wednesday, we had a very special visitor all the way from Balmoral Castle who popped in to thank the children for their support and to wish the children well during their Jubilee lunch. Thank you too, your Majesty.

And on the theme of visitors, thank you once again to Rebecca Fett’s mum for coming into class earlier this week to support our learning on Developing the Young Workforce and give a careers presentation. Mrs Fett shared some wonderful advice about possible careers in sport.

On Monday, a group of the class enjoyed a visit to Lochore Meadows as part of the DHS Transition event. The weather was very kind to them and they were lucky enough to go kayaking. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces on their return.

The week was full of Jubilee themed events in class leading up to a tea-party earlier today in class. Thank you so much for all your kind donations of cakes and treats. The class had a super time!

On Wednesday, Mrs Howie shared the news about a complimentary day at PGL Dalguise with the children. Some of their faces were so delightful to watch as they realised that they would get to go after all. It may not be the residential trip they had hoped for but they are just so excited for it. Thank you so much to Mrs Howie who I know worked super hard over the last few weeks to make this happen.

I hope that the sun keeps shining for you all for whatever you have planned over the next few days. Have a super long weekend everyone and I will see everyone back in class on Tuesday.

Mr. Morgan.
