We were all devastated on Thursday to receive the news about Dalguise next week. I can only imagine the disappointment that everyone was feeling. Today, however, I was so pleased to see the resilience in the pupils as they picked themselves up from the disappointment to gather together alternative ideas of what we might be able to do. All of these ideas will be looked at and we will ensure that the remaining weeks of their P7 experience is an exciting time.

Many of the ideas were to spend some more time practising our show. The children are just so excited to be able to have you come to see them perform.  Our performance has been planned for the 22nd of June at 6pm. We hope to see you there. Tickets will be strictly limited to 2 per family.

In Numeracy, we have finished our block of study on Algebra and we are ready to move on to Problem-Solving and how to use these skills in real-life situations.

Our STEM challenge to design and code a microbit has continued and the children are coming up with some wonderful ideas that they can code and pitch as part of the competition. Next week we will look at creating these pitches as our entry ready to send off for consideration.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed for some great weather.

Mr. Morgan.
