P7 Update

It feels like it has been a very quick first week back after the holidays and it has been lovely to see lots of happy faces and lots of pupils raring to go for a new term of learning.

The highlight of this week has to be today when a wide range of amazing and weird Halloween characters came to class. The costumes and make-up were just fantastic! Well done P7 for getting into the ‘spirit’ of Halloween.

In Digital Literacy this week, we have started to look at how to create and edit digital media. There is a real skill in taking a good photograph and we have started by looking at the composition guide of ‘Rule of Thirds’. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing their efforts on Seesaw. We will use our growing photography skills later in the term when we start to look at creating our own websites.

In Literacy, we worked on completing our Sakura (Cherry Blossom) themed poetry. Can I just say that the work that was produced was absolutely amazing! I am so proud of their work. Completed poetry was posted on Seesaw for you to enjoy.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend full of fun and laughter. Enjoy the rest of the weekend but remember to keep safe if you are going out ‘trick-or-treating on the 31st. I hope that you all have a safe weekend and remember to get some rest too.  The clocks go back on Sunday night!

Take care.
Mr. Morgan.
