Dear family members,
We rounded up our shape work in maths and have begun the topic ‘Money’. In literacy we are writing reviews and this week chose to review films, books and video games.
We had a extra-long cricket session, as we will not have Douglas with us next week. Teams will be chosen over the next few weeks for the Cricket Festival.
To kick off our Scottish Parliament topic, we covered the 1600’s Union of the Crowns, the Act of the Union in 1707 and introduced devolution. We look forward to welcoming visitors from the Scottish parliament to the class on Tuesday of next week.
We have been developing our fine motor skills as we created our sustainable artwork for the coronation to celebrate King Charles’ environmental work. We had lots of fun celebrating the coronation with a picnic, lawn games and reconnector. You can see images on SeeSaw.
