P6a have had a very busy two weeks! We have been continuing to work on information handling. This has included creating and analysing bar and line graphs and discussing how these skills can be used in everyday life and in the world of work.
We have been learning about the Arctic circle and how Maths can help explain why there is constant sun or darkness at different times of the year.
Our creative energies have been on show in our learning about iMovies software to create animations. On the 75th anniversary of D-Day, we learned about this commemoration and wrote our thoughts about what it means to us now.
In Science, we have been growing crystals and practising our science skills when observing, recording and predicting. We are looking forward to seeing how the crystals develop!
Mrs McIntosh had a suggestion for edible crystals which we may just have to try!
