P6a have had a busy and varied week!  We have been exploring co-ordinates and using correct mathematical language. On Wednesday we shared some time with learners in P6b and created games to show our learning.

In ICT we used software to explore settlements in cold deserts and wrote about our findings.

We showed our resilience and worked collaboratively in STEM to solve a build and design challenge. This required us to use a range of skills including teamworking, co'operation, testing, prediction, recording and addition when creating a tower out of limited materials. In our discussions we all agreed that whilst everyone had one task to do there were a large number of ways that it could be carried out successfully.

Our visitors loved to see the art we created in our exhibition. It was delightul to see the artwork displayed in frames and we received a lot of positive feedback. Everyone also took time to look at the books on sale at the book fair and we talked about how we can obtain books for free at our local libraries and also online using our library tickets. We hope next week will be just as exciting and interesting!
