Dear parents and carers,
In writing we reviewed the restaurant McDonalds to develop our skills in the genre responsive writing. We also scripted a narration for our animation 'The Digestive System'. This activity brings our Body topic to a close. We've experienced a wide variety of learning around the Digestive system, the respiratory system, the brain and bones.
We continue our learning on 2D and 3D shape by categorising irregular and regular 2D and 3D shapes and developing our use of mathematical language. We've now rounded up our learning on measure with Mrs Elvin and will begin lessons on the topic 'Money' next week.
Both our cricket training, with the visiting teacher, and football took place outdoors. Our art this week focuses on a mural for the Coronation made with wool. Photos will follow.
