Good afternoon,
We have had a wonderful week of learning in P6A.
In literacy we wrote and shared stories about ‘The Alien at the Front Door’. Place value in decimal numbers was the focus of our numeracy lessons, as we aim to gain a good understanding of both tenths (0.1’s) then hundredths (0.01's). The children showed brilliant focus and control in their basketball lessons and I think we are going to have great fun over the next few weeks improving our skills and teamwork.
‘Kinross Aerospace’ received our paper aeroplane entry for the company’s ‘Aerospace Challenge’. The design that was chosen was a great flier with a sleek design based on the school’s values. We also congratulate all the volunteers for Class Eco Rep as they confidently delivered well-prepared talks to their peers.
I hope you have an enjoyable and restful weekend and I look forward to meeting those of you who can make it to The Meet the Teacher session next Friday.
