P6/7 had many highlights this week and here's a few!

In our literacy lessons the P6/7 pupils continued with their personal writing and added to their CVs. Pupils were given instructions on how to write about themselves and to showcase their own unique qualities and skills.  They chose a layout from Word and are building up the content over a series of lessons.

In maths we have been problem solving and we have had a major focus on STEM lessons. Pupils all created STEM Superheroes as part of a fife wide competition - please ask your child to explain their concept.

Pupils also made very good progress in their science groups coding their BBC Microbits to perform climate saving programs.

In PE we have been preparing for Sports Day. Pupils were also given the opportunity to participate in a rugby taster session run by Matthew Wilson from Dunfermline Rugby Club - lots of fun!

Our social target winners were Amber Elliot & Freddie Lowe

We offered a warm welcome to our new P6 pupil this week.
