A wonderful week of learning at Canmore Primary School began with all pupils advancing their skills in microbit coding.  The pupils have completed a few more advanced lessons and are making some really exciting projects - please ask your child to show you what they can do!

In our number work, we continued to explore data handling and pupils continue to develop their skills using spreadsheet software.

Mrs Fett came in on Tuesday to deliver a careers talk to the pupils. Her experience as an HR Development Manager with Scottish Rugby was really interesting. This is the 3rd career talk the pupils have received to help them prepare for their own career fair.  Homework this week is to continue to prepare their display boards.

Our show is getting very close and pupils completed their rehearsals with happy enthusiasm and energy - please bring in costumes next week and a last final push on memorising lines please over the weekend.

The Jubilee has brought everyone together and the pupils celebrated by making a range of arts and craft activities. The pupils all came together for a special lunch, outdoor picnic and of course the formal and fancy tea and tiara. A celebration to remember.

Enjoy the Jubilee weekend - may the sun shine for everyone!
