P6/7 have developed their coding skills by creating running animations and games to play. We used the free SCRATCH software available at https://scratch.mit.edu/

In our writing we transferred our growing skills using descriptive language and punctuation to create Welcome to Autumn poems ahead of the seasonal change on 22 September'20.

Our number work has focused on the 3x tables and addition of whole and decimal numbers. Next week this will continue then shift into subtraction. We also discussed squared numbers, powers and for some triangular numbers.

Our class scientists continue their investigations exploring through experiments and having lots of engaging discussions on the why? and the how?

I am constantly saying how proud I am of the class as they work towards their learning targets and how smart they look in the uniforms - I am certain you agree we have really gotten off to a fabulous start in Term One.

Congratualations to our social target winner this week
Delia Cornwill for being responsible in choices, actions and words.

Have a lovely weekend
