For maths we have been learning about to read and identify fractions. We have been using fraction walls and fraction circles to support our learning of equivalent fractions.

We have been continuing to learn about comics. We learned from the creators of the Beano how to create a comic character; how to create a setting by creating a comic world and then how to create a three-part story using short sentences, speech and though bubbles and figurative language.  We will complete our comics next week.

This week for outdoor learning we have been learning about the importance of worms and have made wormeries so we can study our worms a bit closer, but they will be released before the holidays. There was lots of people without a change of shoes this week for outdoor learning, to help keep our school clean and mud free please can you make sure that your child has a change of shoes and a plastic bag for the muddy boots/shoes.

We are continuing to work hard on our creative dance. It has really come together well and children are showing great enthusiasm! We will be heading off to the dance festival next Friday and details have been put up on Seesaw.

We have been celebrating Red Nose Day today, with lots of fun activities!

Thank you for your support,
