WOW! What a fantastic week in P6!
We are very proud of their wonderful performance at the Fife Festival of Music. They sang beautifully and were excellent ambassadors for Canmore Primary School.
For writing, we were able to use the experience of the music festival to write a personal response sharing our opinions and feelings.
The pupils also had an amazing STEM KNEX workshop where they had the challenge of building a solar powered car. It was great to see all the pupils working collaboratively and using their problem-solving skills. They were able to build the cars and understand how energy in converted.
For maths this week we have started looking at the connection between multiplication and division. We have been sharing into equal groups. We have also continued reading time on analogue and digital clocks, and some children were converting 12/24 hour time.
The children were also investigating the digestive system. We did a whole class experiment demonstrating the process of digestion – it was a little messy!
