P6 Weekly Update

P6 have been busy with a range of different creations this week!

As part of our recycle, reuse and reduce focus in Science, the children were finishing off their bottle top creations. They looked amazing! We will submit our entry to the Message in a Bottle Top competition on Monday.

The children were also reusing old glassware of mine. They took on a Dragon’s Den project where they were to design a new product and pitch their idea to me. Some very creative ideas! They then were reusing gift bags and their creations were gift wrapped and are on their way home today.

In Outdoor Learning, the children did some litter picking. They found some bizarre litter!

In Maths, we have started a new topic – Equations and Expressions. The children are enthusiastic to learn more about algebra and keen to be challenged.
