It’s the last week of term!

In Reading, we have continued our class novel: Kay’s Anatomy. We have now read all about the skin, heart, blood, lungs, brain, hair and nails, eyes and ears and mouth and nose, and are currently reading about bones. The children have been engaged throughout each topic, asking lots of interesting questions.

In Maths, we have been learning about probability this week. Children have been using the language of probability to describe how likely an event is to happen.

We also completed an Easter egg times table scavenger hunt on Thursday, using the full school grounds. Children worked excellently in their teams.

In Health and Wellbeing, the children have been learning about changes that girls and boys go through during puberty. I am very proud of how mature P6 have been. If any pupil was absent for this, they will be part of these lessons next term.

On the last day of term, the JSL organised a very fun fundraising day. Children had a brilliant time!

Thank you to P6 for a wonderful last week of term. I hope you all have an amazing Easter break, Mrs Forrest 😊
