P6 Weekly Update

Another fast week in P6!
In Writing, we started our new focus: discursive writing. The children looked at a good example of a balanced argument. They were then given five questions and had to pick one to write about. The children will start writing their own balanced argument, based on these questions, next week.
In Maths, we have been focusing on simplifying fractions this week. Children have made a brilliant start to our new focus in maths.
Children have been fantastic when learning about our new project ‘The Human Body’. Next week we will be learning about the heart.
Rotary Club continues to have high numbers of children attending. This takes place on Tuesday and Thursday break times.
