A very enterprising week! The children have been working hard, like Santa’s elves, making our sock snowies for the Virtual Canmore Christmas Fair. Each child has uploaded an ad for their sock snowy on Seesaw and photos have been uploaded to our stall on Facebook. It's been wonderful to see so many children taking theirs home today.
In Numeracy, the children have finished planning their Christmas party challenge. All of them managed to stick to the £250 budget and had some money to spare!
In Writing, we used the John Lewis advert as inspiration and the children were to imagine they met an alien who had never heard of Christmas. They had to put together an itinerary of Christmas-themed fun that they could do with the alien, showing them what Christmas was all about.
Next week is our last full week of term 2! We will be having our Christmas party on Tuesday afternoon. Children can come to school dressed for the party or go home at lunch to get ready. We can't wait for an afternoon of Christmas fun!
