In Writing this week, the children were using persuasive devices to create leaflets. The children were asked to come up with a brand-new tourist attraction for Edinburgh and create a leaflet to advertise this. The leaflets are looking great! We will upload photos of the completed leaflets on Monday.
In Numeracy, we have finished our addition, subtraction, multiplication and division focus. Children completed an end of topic assessment and showed great progress. We will now move onto a new topic – money. This will link in with our enterprise topic.
In Project, the children were set the challenge to come up with a company name, logo and slogan for our Christmas company. Congratulations to Jayden for his winning design as selected by the children.
Children were set a task from St. Leonards Church this week to design a set of angel wings. The children created some beautiful! designs They have now been sent away and will be displayed in The Kingsgate Centre. We can’t wait to see this display all coming together.
