What a fun first week back!
In Writing, the children created a newspaper report on the crimes of Burke and Hare. We will finish these next week.
In Numeracy, we have completed our addition and subtraction focus, and will move onto multiplication and division next week. Children have shown good progress.
We had lots of Halloween fun today! We read some spooky stories this morning, and the children had to predict the ending. In Science the children were focusing on senses, where they had to guess what was inside a range of Halloween feel boxes. This was lots of fun! In the afternoon, we played pass the parcel to Halloween music, and then we were aiming to have a movie afternoon. Unfortunately, technology let us down so we will watch our Halloween movie throughout next week.
