In Writing this week, the children were looking at persuasive writing and what devices they can use to persuade the reader. Next week the children will create a leaflet for a new tourist attraction in Edinburgh, using a range of these persuasive devices.
In Numeracy, we have moved onto using written strategies in division. We have been using the bus stop method to carry out written division, and will continue this next week.
Today has been Children in Need Day and we have had a wonderful day. We started the day with some reading comprehension, learning about the history of Children in Need and after break, the children took part in a competition to design a new bandana for Pudsey Bear.
