Week 2
And so another successful week comes to a close in P5/6. It has been yet another busy week in class and we have been starting to do more assessment pieces of work in both literacy and numeracy. It was pleasing to see the class working very hard trying to get back into the swing of writing and working with number.
In literacy, we have been looking again at how to write imaginatively and in numeracy we have started to refresh our knowledge of place value. In RME, we have begun to look at the life of Siddhartha Gautama and what it means to be a follower of the world faith of Buddhism. In Spanish, we have looked at how some words have a different spelling dependent on gender.
I have started to add classwork photos to our class Seesaw account so please check there regularly for updates and examples of your child’s work as well as some examples of what the class is doing in general.
