It feels like only a short while ago that school had just returned after the summer break and yet here we are just about to start the October holiday! Where has the time gone!

It was great to get back into class again on Monday and especially lovely to see so many happy, smiling faces.

We started the week off with the last of our Digital Literacy challenges using photography. This time it was to advertise a product - the product in question was our school.  A selection of the photos taken by the class have been added to our Fife Council website. If you have a few minutes to spare, have a quick look to see our handy work – the photos are on the Home Page.

In numeracy this week, we looked at how to neatly set out our work when adding. We discussed the importance of neat presentation of our work to help prevent us from getting mixed up and to raise our levels of accuracy. In literacy, we have continued to work on the size of our handwriting and in particular the size of the letter 's' at the start of a word – our neatness is improving all the time.

In Art, we looked at the work of the artist Wassily Kandinsky and abstract art. The class have produced some wonderful versions of his work!

I hope that you all have a safe and relaxing break and I look forward to seeing everyone next term.

Mr. Morgan.
