It is hard to believe this is our last update of the term but here we are with only a few days left before Christmas. This week we have enjoyed supporting the primary 1's with their nativity with our singing, and once again those in the choir entertained us with fantastic performances.
In science we have been constructing ferris wheels out of lollipop sticks and we aim to have them motorised and working before the final bell of term! Fingers crossed as it is proving quite challenging as our measurements have to be quite accurate.
In RME we have started on our new topic of Journeys by discussing the very topical journey of the Three Wise Men, and exploring some of the latest thoughts around their journey time and arrival. We followed this up by watching the film 'The Star' which the children all seemed to enjoy and which gave another perspective on the nativity story.
This week we have also finished our art work on line design by completing both our Christmas cards and our calendars, and I'm sure you will agree these are looking fabulous.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support in everything that the children are involved in, and to wish you a happy and enjoyable Christmas. I look forward to seeing all the children in the New Year, and to hearing all their exciting Christmas news.
