Next week we plan to watch the DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in class. As this is a PG rated DVD, I ask that you contact me directly on Seesaw to inform me if YOU DO NOT wish your child to watch the DVD. Please let me know by 3pm on Monday, so that alternative arrangements can be made for your child.
This term we have been listening to, and reading the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This has linked well to our literacy work and also to our Fairtrade Chocolate topic. The children have really engaged with the novel, and watching the DVD would allow the children to compare the movie to the written text.
