Another busy week in Primary 4/5!  We have been continuing our work on partitioning with 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number and have even started looking at 3 digits.
In Literacy, we wrote a newspaper article on the maiden voyage of the Titanic from Southampton.  We saw pictures of the ship and the crowds of people who came to see it off, waving goodbye to relatives from the quayside.
Our STEM activity was to create our own tin foil boat that could float and carry some weight (in the form of playmobil figures).  There was a lot of trial and error to find designs that worked!  We wrote our predictions and then wrote about why our design was successful.
On Thursday we had a Teams meeting with Miss Graham and were very excited to hear that she would be coming back to school the next day!
We have been very helpful to Miss Graham today, ensuring she doesn't have to stand too long on her foot and getting anything she needs.
